# Can Swiftype index videos that are embedded on my website?

While we’re not able to index the actual embedded content (such as videos, media files, widgets), we will index any HTML/text based content that exists on the page.

If the content page contains information about the video as well as information about related content, that _will_ be indexed. Also, you could use custom [meta tags](https://swiftype.com/documentation/meta_tags2) to define the `type` of content as well as any other custom attributes you’d like!
