> **I want to create search results that match the style of my website. How do I change the Swiftype styles?**

You can customize the CSS used to style the Swiftype results by providing more-specifically targeted CSS selectors.

We have a tutorial about [how to customize the search results display using CSS](https://swiftype.com/documentation/tutorials/custom_styles).

If you would like to completely customize the search experience, you can use the [Swiftype autocomplete jQuery plugin](https://github.com/swiftype/swiftype-autocomplete-jquery) along with the [Swiftype search jQuery plugin](https://github.com/swiftype/swiftype-search-jquery).

Our [Ruby on Rails example application](https://github.com/swiftype/swiftype-rails-example) uses these jQuery libraries, so you can check out the source code and [read the tutorial](https://swiftype.com/documentation/tutorials/rails) for inspiration.
