# Optimizing search in Wordpress (to tag or not to tag?)

We are using Wordpress, what is the best setup for tagged pages i Wordpress in section Manage Weights? We also have pages that are not tagged, what is you recommended setup?

Good question!
Weights control what fields are searchable, and how much impact any given field has when returning results. When adjusting weights, you should consider the following questions:
- Does the field contain content that needs to be searchable?
- How important is matching content in this field when compared to matches in other fields?
- Is a recent result more important than an older result with matching content?
If results should prioritize a matching post tag, then they should be weighted in the dashboard.
