I use videos on my pages and I want my site search to surface results with those videos and related content. Does the Swiftype site search algorithm take videos into account when querying?
While we’re not able to index the actual embedded content (such as videos, media files, widgets), we will index any HTML/text based content that exists on the page.
If the content page contains information about the video as well as information about related content, that will be indexed. Also, you could use custom meta tags to define the type of content as well as any other custom attributes you’d like!
