Some URLs on on my site redirect to a different location. Does the crawler handle this?
Swiftbot will definitely follow 301 and 302 redirects. In those cases, the origin URL that redirects will not be indexed.
Please note that the crawler will only follow a few redirects per URL to avoid being trapped in a redirect loop.
