I have added the
imagemeta tag to my site template, this works great and each page is rendering the correct image tag. However, in the autocomplete it keeps showing an old image even though the image tag on the page is a different URL.
When you update the image meta tag on your page, you need to recrawl your site so those changes are detected and indexed. Keep in mind that the time it takes to complete a full recrawl of your site can vary depending on the amount of site content to be indexed, as well as your web server’s available bandwidth.
If you find you’re only needing to update the image (or other) meta tags, the quickest way to accomplish this is to look up the page URL from the Manage > Contents view of your Swiftype dashboard and then select reindex from the Options dropdown menu.
